How to Use The Site / Pricing

Welcome to IndieAccess, providing listings for both actors and crew in the film industry.

To register for IndieAccess, you must be able to provide a phone number, street address, e-mail address, and a valid credit card number.

Feel free to print out this page as a guide while you actually step through the registration. After you have read the instructions, click the Looking for Work button above and select the area you wish to register in. To register as an actor or an extra, click ACTOR. To register in any non-performance film crew role, click CREW.

TO REGISTER AS CREW:

Select the package you wish to sign up for. There are two packages available for those who wish to register for crew positions:
- REGULAR PACKAGE
  Allows you to list yourself in 2 film job categories.
- PREMIUM PACKAGE
  Allows you to list yourself in up to 10 film job categories!
Select your appropriate payment plan. Three payment plans are available for the regular and premium packages.
- 30 days - $10/month (regular package) or $12/month (premium package).
  NOTE: For your convenience, your credit card will be rebilled at the end of each month. To prevent your credit card from being rebilled, you must terminate your membership.
- 6 months - $45 (regular package) or $55 (premium package)
- 1 year - $75 (regular package) or $85 (premium package)
When you have selected your payment plan, you will be taken to the registration form. On the registration form, fill in all applicable fields. Fields which MUST be filled in for your registration to be completed are marked with a *. All others are optional.
NOTE:
- Your address will not appear online. This is for IndieAccess' record-keeping purposes only and will not be made available to the public.
- You only need to list one requested job. Any additional jobs are optional.
- Please list the TITLE of your past film-related jobs, and select the category into which each production falls (Feature Film, Short Film, Documentary, etc.)
- If you do not feel the available choices represent your past work, you may offer a more accurate description in the "additional information" box at the end of the form.
When your registration form has been properly filled out, you will be taken to iBill's credit card billing page. Enter all your credit card information correctly.

TO REGISTER AN ACTOR/EXTRA:

Select the package you wish to sign up for. There are two packages available for those who wish to register as actors.
- REGULAR PACKAGE
  Allows you to register as an actor OR extra, and allows for the inclusion of a photo of yourself on your listing page.
- PREMIUM PACKAGE
  Allows you to register as an actor OR extra, PLUS two other job postings in the crew category, and provides space for a larger version of your publicity photo. If you register as an actor, you CAN register as an extra as one of your other two jobs, and vice versa.
PHOTOS: All actor registrants who wish to have their photo online must have an appropriate and professional-looking 8x10 colour or black and white head shot.

1) To e-mail your headshot, please make sure that you have a nice, clear scan. Scans should be sent only in "jpeg" format. Scan your headshot at 72dpi (your image file should be aproximately 576x720 pixels). File size should not exceed approximately 160kb. Once you are happy with your scan, please send it to headshots@indieaccess.ca. Please include your name and city in the body of the email. You may also contact us at the above address should you have any questions about scanning.

2) To mail your headshot, please send your 8x10 to:

NOTE:
- Indie Access reserves the right to refuse inappropriate images
- All photos become the property of Indie Access and will not be returned
- Failure to provide a photo will not result in a reduced registration fee
- Actors are not required to provide a photo for registration to be completed, but it is highly recommended

INDIE ACCESS TERMS OF SERVICE

1) Indie Access is not liable for damage or injury, however caused, arising from the action, inaction, or negligence of any individual who is hired or otherwise utilized in any way by users of the Indie Access database. It is wholly your responsibility to contact and evaluate the qualifications of the prospective worker for each job on a case-by-case basis, and to negotiate the terms of employment with that worker directly.

2) IndieAccess cannot investigate the accuracy of a job seeker's past education level or prior job experience/performance. Indie Access assumes no responsibility for fraudulent, inaccurate, or misleading statements by an individual made in his/her resume information. For clarity, the onus is on the user to evaluate an individual and decide either to hire or not hire that person. Requesting a list or lists from Indie Access confirms an understanding and acceptance of the Terms of Service.
