How to Use The Site

Welcome to IndieAccess, providing listings for both actors and crew in the film industry.

There is no cost to access the Indie Access database. You need only supply some information about your production.

Feel free to print out this page as a guide while you actually step through the registration. After you have read the instructions, click the Looking for Cast or Crew button above.


HOW TO ACCESS THE DATABASE:
  1. Click the Looking for Cast or Crew button above. You will be taken to a simple form requesting information about your production.
  2. All items on the form that are marked with a red asterix (*) are mandatory. Please fill out this information.
  3. When you have filled out these fields, click "continue" at the bottom of the page. You will now be given a user name and a password for the Indie Access database. Write this information down somewhere.
  4. You can now enter the database by clicking the link. When prompted, enter your user name and password.
  5. The directory is divided into disciplines (e.g. Editor, Assistant Director, etc). Clicking on the discipline name will take you to an index file of all registrants who have requested work in that area.
  6. When on a discipline index page, clicking on a registrant's name will take you to that person's resume. You can peruse their past work and experience, and their contact information.
  7. By registering for Indie Access, these people are requesting work in the areas they have specified! Contact whom ever you feel is suitable for your production.
  8. Please feel free to visit as often as you like! Your password will remain valid until further notice.
  9. If you forget your password, simply fill out the producer's form again. There is no cost to access the database.



I'm an Actor or Extra, and I want to submit my headshot. How do I do that?
IndieAccess accepts only professional-looking, 8x10 photographs. IndieAccess maintains the right to refuse any photo that does not meet our standards. You may submit your headshot by mail or electronically:

1) To e-mail your headshot, please make sure that you have a nice, clear scan. Scans should be sent only in "jpeg" format. Scan your headshot at 72dpi (your image file should be aproximately 576x720 pixels). File size should not exceed approximately 160kb. Once you are happy with your scan, please send it to headshots@indieaccess.com. You may also contact us at the above address should you have any questions about scanning.

2) To mail your headshot, please send your 8x10 to:
